UP!

I was surprised by the movie’s name. In Japanese, it is called the Grandfather Carl with his flying house. But the English is different. It is called just Up. I thought that why the movie was named so? Up has some meaning. One meaning is happiness. Mr. Carl knew the true happiness in the end. He really loves his wife. He remembers their wish that they want to go to Paradise Falls. He bought the ticket to go there but his wife died there was no time. He regretted that his dream could not come true. He promised to take to his wife, Ellie, to Paradise Fall when they were children. I thought that he bind himself by the promise in the middle. He might want to keep his connection with Ellie. I was cried when I saw Mr. Fredricksen became been alone in the first 11 minutes of the movie. I also think that I do not want to get old. How fast the time passes. I am afraid of growing old but then again this movie taught me that anyone can give themselves the chance of doing. The words like The Charles Muntz said “Adventure is out there!” are important.

I will write about my feeling toward on the movie. I often think that Disney’s movie use music very well. It makes me nervous and fun. I love the music. The movie gives us clear pictures. One of my favorite scenes is the house flying. There are many balloons and their shadows. The shadows are colorful. It is close scene but I like the expression.

 

To fly with a house is an interesting idea like Disney. The other characteristic is the characters are very unique. Mr. Fredricksen was impossible to please at first but he knows how to love. He is an obstinate man and kind to his friends. Russell is a young and pure boy. He is not devious. His straight words made Mr. Fredricksen’s like him. They are attractive. I like Dug the best. There are many dogs in the movie and they are eloquent. It puts me in a flutter from start to finish. I want to watch the movie again!

My favorite season

My favorite season is winter because there are many interesting events. I like Christmas. I can listen to the fun music anywhere in the season. I like Christmas songs very much. I believed Santa when I was child. He gave me some toys in the day. It is glad for me to get it. I had written the letter for him. My father had seen him in the midnight. My birthday is January so I like winter. It is new year and it is happy. I like to wear warmer close. I do not like cold but I wear more closes. I like winter the best! I want to enjoy spending this winter. I want to go to trip for alone as possible.

BR02-02 Puffin Rescue!

“There are eight to ten million puffins in Iceland.” (p.18)

 

I like this book’s series. The face of book is puffins. Puffins are a kind of bird. The largest groups of puffins live in Iceland. The babies of puffins are called pufflings. I have seen it one book. It is so cute. The children of Heimaey have been saving young puffins for a long time. It is very exciting for the children, it may not always be enjoyable for the pufflings. The children take the lost pifflings to the beach. Then throw the pufflings into the air and watch them fly away. In japan we cannot do the things so it is interesting for me.

BR02-01 The Runaway PANCAKE

Why I choose the book is the book face is so cute. I thought that it is funny story but it is not true. You can find the final in this picture. It is sad for me to be eaten. The first is interesting. The big family begins to make break first. When seven hungry children have pancakes for breakfast one pancake refuses to be eaten, jumps out the pan and rolls right away. The final the pancake could not escape from the family, the rabbit the duck, the cat, the fox. I do not like the pig. Finally the story ended all too soon.

My favorite animal

Today I will write about my favorite animal. I like cats the best because it is very cute. I have wanted to take care of it since I was child. But my father and mother do not like cat. When I visited my ground parents’ home in the vacation, the cats was born near the house. They are so pretty. I always went there during the staying. My cousin wanted to bring it her home but it did not come true. We backed home to take some fish for near river in place of cats. There was a cat in my return road of junior high school. I like to be named for cats. I called him Ron. I will have a cat when I live alone.

Something special I did during

I went to rendezvous without a sleeping. Madoka and Misaki and Mako waited me at the bus stop in Kumamoto. We used the Fukuoka airport so we went to Fukuoka by bus. We ride on the airplane to Paris for about twelve hours. We used Korean air and we have to speak English because there is no flight cabin attendant who can speak Japanese. We have a little trouble in this plane. One of the flight attendant said that do you transfer? I did not understand the ward ‘transfer’. I asked her. What is the mean? Then I thought that I have to enrich my vocabulary. In the long flight, I talked with my friend and we identified the plan in this trip. I was looking forward to leave France.

At the first time, we had to find a ticket counter to go to London in the Charles de Gaulle International Airport. We asked to information staff. He is black. I was afraid of him but he was very kind and friendly. After we bought the ticket, we did not know which way to go. We were completely lost but a kind married couple led us the bus stop. They were told us how to buy the bus ticket too. In the bus, we made a friend with Brazilian man. He was very funny and we enjoy talking. At the bus stop in front of the Opera, we shook him by the hand. We arrived at the hotel we were living, an old master received us. We felt a sleep after we ate an instant noodle.

 

Next day, we visited London by train. It was very fan! In London, we went to Kings Cross, London zoo, Green Park, Baker Street, Hyde Park, Big Ben and London Eye. The man who was a small shop was very kind for us. We lost a way but he drawn a map and taught us how to go the place. Other people were kind to do something. The warmth of their kind made me happy. On 27th, we went to Buckingham Palace, St-James’s Park, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Bridge, British Museum, and Piccadilly Circus. We made a friend with Arabian woman. She visited to London as a vacation. We talked her something but I could tell a little my thinking.

 

When we came back from London to Paris, it was midnight. We wanted to go rest room. We found it after long chase, we had to pay money. We were surprised. In Paris, we went to many famous places. The most favorite place of Paris is Chathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Why? There are beautiful stained glasses and sentient sculptures. We can climb up the stairs and see around of it on the high place. I like the row of houses and streets. It makes me happy just like that. I think that it is good for me to ride on double-decker bus. The bus can bring you the famous places easier. I enjoyed scene of Paris on the bus. There are guides so we can learn the history at once. One of the good point is there are many people who have each nationalities. We made friends with British family. They were going the rounds in Europe by them car. They spend in tent. The mother is very fun and the son is cute. We enjoyed talking on the bus. This trip made us some friends.

 

The thing which I learn in my trip is I must learn English harder. I want to talk deeply so I must extend my vocabulary. It is important for me to use English aggressively. I think I do my best my fall classes. I want to go abroad again!

Good and bad points about summer

I think that the good point of summer vacation is the day is long. I can stay free so I can try something to do. There are many chances. At this time of year the days are long.  I have to act on my own initiative and summer has a lot of interesting events. I like fire flower. It cannot see without summer. In the summer, my family always makes a trip so I can stay quiet time with my family. If I devise a plan for my summer vacation closely, the vacation becomes good but people have a lot of time, they often become dull. It is the bad point for summer vacation.

How I study during the vacation

How I study English during summer vacation. I want to do what I could not study in my days. First, I watched many movies in English. I visited foreign country so I thought I have to study more conversation. I want to talk fluently. Next, I have to increase my vocabulary. I use Power Words aggressively. I want to study Japanese because I have a lot of words which I do not know. If I increase Japanese words, I can also speak well in English. And I am concerned about what I write sentence in English is very late. I will write in English of my own motion.

What classes will I take

I want to take a class which is Western art history. I like watching arts. I have gone to Louvre twice. I want to study it in detail. I wonder that how to draw such a big art. I am interested in that. The other, I will take some classes of literature, English literature, American literature and Japanese literature. I think that reading books is the best to increase my vocabulary. I am looking forward to studying it. I will read many books. I have to adopt the new words positivity. I will study earnestly than spring term. I want to do my best.

vacation plans/vacation preparation

My vacation plan is unusual because I will be able to dream come true in this summer. I had lived in Paris when I was children. It is my reason to study English. I like foreign culture. I know the history more than when I used to be. So I want to go there again. One day, I talked it to my friend. My friend said I want to go abroad too. I was glad. Then we have been planning this trip. I will go to France with my four friends. I have never gone to so far place with friends. It is special for me to stay abroad without my family. I want to make a go of the plan. And I want to make many friends in this trip.
